Day 13 - Bokeh I couldn’t think of what to photograph to show bokeh and finally though of the concept of bokeh from the sunlight hitting the leaves in trees and how it makes those beautiful circles. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out that awesome in my picture but I still like it. Should have taken it during high noon or something. And no this isn’t my house so I got this quickly and made a run for it haha.

Day 11 - Black & White I thought this would be fitting to convert to black and white since the kitty looked so lonely and sad all caged up like that.  Got this photo while hanging out with Robert and Yang today, it was a super fun reunion. I’m excited for our future adventures :)

Day 10 - Childhood Memory Pink, Barbies, castles, beads, drawings, books. All packed away and cleaned out this summer. I don’t really remember much of it, aside from the fact that I had all these things. All just a blurry memory.

Day 7 - Fruit Ok ok so I cheated. It’s not a fruit. The only fruit I have in my house is like lemon and bananas and I think it’s kinda creepy to take a picture of those… Took a picture of one of my favorite vegetables that I eat almost everyday. I love it baked. My favorite sweet potato is the Japanese purple kind, yum. *drew a little ghost face just because it had notches that had some resemblance…

Day 6 - Low Angle I always liked this Barbie, I like her dress. But staring at her for more than 2 minutes gives me the creeps. The angle isn’t really low angle either, I tried to make it so that it would look like the camera was looking up her skirt. I still like how it turned out. Going to start using the photo option on tumblr instead. I didn’t like it at first because it doesn’t have a title option but at least the pictures are high-res.

Day 4 - Something Green

My favorite green item is, of course, leaves. This is my mom’s potted house plant. It hasn’t blossomed any flowers yet but it will soon! The buds are coming out :)

FUN FACT: Most people don’t know until I tell them (even Chinese folks) that my last name means leaf (葉 traditional, 叶simplified) I always thought simplified way of spelling it looked spiffy.

It’s pronounced yeep in Cantonese and yeh in Mandarin. My last name, Ip, is the Hong Kong way of spelling it though there are a lot of people whose last name are Yip. I prefer Ip because it’s earlier in the alphabet so I don’t get called last in class woo!
